white bog structures
A series of works started in 2023 during a residency at Ballinglen Arts Foundation in Ballycastle, County Mayo, Ireland. The work uses ashes from bog peat and willow (a peat ‘alternative’) as the only pigment and textural material. There is no paint. Beeswax and acrylic medium are the binders.
